Arenewed digital experience for the scientific community: the new official Simposio AFI website marks a significant evolution in the event's communication. Completely redesigned, the portal offers a modern, accessible, and intuitive interface, engineered to ensure maximum usability.
A cutting-edge restyling
The renovation project of the AFI Symposium site was designed to combine visual elegance and technical robustness. The entire digital environment was rebuilt on a latest generation WordPress platform, using the Avada framework to guarantee modularity, high performance and maximum compatibility with every device.
1. Usability-oriented design and structure
The new site was developed with a "user-centered" approach, that is, completely oriented towards the needs of the end user. The clean layout and hierarchical distribution of contents allow for smooth and natural reading. All pages follow a modular logic, so as to guarantee graphic uniformity and ease of updating over time.
The result is a digital ecosystem in which technology supports communication: from clear calls-to-action to images optimized for the web, each element guides the user towards the information they are looking for, minimizing cognitive barriers and improving the perception of reliability of the AFI Symposium.
2. New Symposium area
Completely redesigned in structure and content, this section contains all the fundamental information on the event: program, speakers, exhibitors, workshops and registrations. The user can consult and download the official program in Italian and English, explore the agenda and discover each day's activities in a quick and interactive way. The area thus becomes the beating heart of the portal.
3. Responsive design and accessibility
Cross-device compatibility is total: the site was designed to adapt perfectly to smartphones, tablets and desktops, maintaining aesthetic and functional coherence. It also complies with the WCAG 2.2 standards on digital accessibility, to guarantee an optimal experience even for users with visual or motor disabilities, in line with the principles of inclusiveness and social responsibility promoted by AFI.
4. A constantly evolving project
The portal is not a simple showcase site, but a living and continually growing platform. The goal is to build a digital environment that supports not only the annual event, but also the AFI scientific community, creating a stable and authoritative point of reference for the sector.
