Controlled Release Society Italy Local Chapter

The CRS Italy Chapter was founded in 2007 with the aim to gather academics and industry professionals involved in the fields of controlled delivery of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, agricultural and special food industry. Today, the CRS Italy Chapter serves over 100 members from various fields of controlled release. Volunteers from academia and industry perform the various executive and administrative functions and tasks. The CRS Italy Chapter fosters networking opportunities among members and promotes education and student involvement in this field through the annual meeting and workshops on the cutting-edge research findings and developments. Those goals are met also thanks to the support from academia and industry. The CRS Italy Chapter also provides financial support, in part via funding from the international CRS organization, to organize local events and to enable PhD students and post-doc to attend both the national as well as the CRS international annual meetings.
