The 65th Simposio AFI includes the presentation of posters regarding original works on topics concerning the entire pharmaceutical supply chain, from chemical synthesis to biotech drugs and advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs). Topics of interest include the conception and development of innovative solutions in quality control and assurance, manufacturing, intellectual property protection, clinical trials, regulatory affairs, and therapeutic use. A discussion session between Symposium visitors and the poster Authors is scheduled. The poster judged most interesting and innovative by a Committee of Experts appointed by AFI will be awarded a €1,000.00 prize, established by Dr. Maria Luisa Nolli, co-founder of NCNbio, in memory of Dr. Luigi Cavenaghi, former president of the society.
A certificate acknowledging the significant scientific contribution will be awarded to the posters ranked second and third. Further recognition will be reserved for young authors (undergraduates, residents, or PhD students).
The award ceremony will take place on the evening of Thursday, June 11th, at the Grand Hotel in Rimini, during the Gala Dinner.

The Poster Committee will review the submitted abstracts, verify that the work has not been previously published, and decide on its acceptance for the Symposium. Acceptance will be communicated to the corresponding Author, who will be invited to register for the Symposium along with any collaborators; this registration is free of charge and mandatory for organizational purposes, granting access to the exhibition area, Wednesday morning workshops (June 10th), Lectio Magistralis, and the Under-30 Contest session. Accepted posters will be displayed in the foyer of the Sala del Castello throughout the Symposium and will also be available online on the Symposium website. On Thursday, June 11th, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, one of the Authors must be present at their poster to answer any questions from participants regarding the work presented.
Access to the Scientific Sessions, however, is subject to a fee and requires registration for the Symposium.
